I need a Pricing Calculator Module Built for Opencart, the functionality of the module should work like the calculator on the following link: http://tinyurl.com/7mtznar

The Formula for calculation should be able to calculate a price using the following fields

Length, Width, Units in either Inches or Feet, Design Services, Contour Cut, Finishing Options, When a price is calculated, it should store all of the parameters in the order

This link has a perfect working example ---> http://tinyurl.com/7mtznar

That's not even close Jimmy. Please at least post relevant links!

@theblogger41 - PM me, I've done something similar before and can do this for you as you want it. Will need to discuss it in further detail

I'm also looking for a price calculator for the product page. I would like the price calculations to show up at the bottom by the quantity box. Please message me or reply if you know of or have a module like this of your own. Very appreciated!!!!!!!! Running out of time for this project.

Thanks!

Hi, This is something very close to my requirement as well. I want to calculate price of my products based on the specifications.
I want to input certain attributes, and the price of the products would vary based on that.
eg, Gold weight in a ring would be the basis of calculation of its gold price, and the diamond weight would be the basis of calculation of its diamond price. As we know different purities of gold warrant different prices, and same with diamonds.

I am looking for a solution that that calculate price of a product based on the input material, and certain formulas. If anybody can help, I would be really grateful.

Why not use product options which could do that?

I'm not sure how product options are going to help me..
If we look at an example, say a diamond ring, it is made up of 2 main components gold and diamonds, and its price is calculated on the basis of their weights.
I make 2 attributes:
*Gold weight = 4 grams
*Diamond Weight = 0.75 carat

The value of these attributes would vary for every product I have, but essentially, all (or most) products would have both the attributes.
This is the part which I think cannot go into the options.

Now, if we look at the things that can be made an option are:
*Gold Purity = 75% (which will be a percentage of the weight of gold * price of gold )
*Diamond Colour = G-H [There are various diamond colours available, affecting their price. In my case, the options would signify a multiple of a "base-rate", i.e. if I set a base rate of diamond colour = $100, I would want to specify my option as a factor of this, eg, $100 * 0.75 (weight of diamond) * 1.5 (option specific multiple)]
*Diamond Clarity= SI [Essentially the same as above]

I know I can do my calculations in excel and out a fixed amount in the options fields, but this increases the chances of a mistake happening, apart from increasing my work. (For every product I want to add, I would first need to calculate the price increment/decrement for every option, and input it manually)

I hope I have been able to explain what my requirement is. You can visit my site to get a better understanding of what I'm looking for: http://www.ahanajewellery.com/diamond-l ... uct_id=215
Here I've included options for the diamond colour and clarity, which I've pre-calculated in excel and entered into opencart.

Thanks :)

Most recently, I was also looking for a calculator module for my site being developed on Opencart, but unfortunately, I could not find a suitable module. We needed a module through which you can independently create calculators, add fields and lists there, your own formulas, pictures and display several different calculation results. And besides that these calculations came to me by email.

After going through the mass of modules, I realized that it would not be possible to quickly make a calculator and it is necessary to significantly refine existing solutions. But after a long search, fortunately, I managed to find the right solution and create a calculator through uCalc, using special instructions for Opencart. It turned out everything I needed and even more, you can customize the formulas, add different fields, accept the calculation results not only by email, but also the phone in sms, which really turned out to be cool.

And the most important thing is that this module works on the visual designer, so I don’t need to dive into the program code to create a calculator. I think that other Opencart users can use this tool. I would like to find another similar tool, but already for creating surveys on the site and for using them in email newsletters.
