are there any plans to develop an opensource mobile app for opencart?

i know there is a proprietary mobile app around but we really need to see the code to assure customers of security (no offense)

I do no tlike apps... instant use a smartphone optimized template / html5 version. This could just a simple theme where opencart switch to it, if its detecting a smartphone browser...

Yes first I would like to say the benefits of using an Opencart Solution like with the help of this technology, one does not necessarily need to build a whole shopping cart solution from scratch. So lets make a plan to create one app.
