I have done some bugfixes and also added support for the newly introduced DB_PREFIX to the Export/Import module. I'll add some more features as per previous forum requests within the next few weeks.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

i just installed your features that seems cool but i get this message when i export and try to open the spreadsheet.

"Import Error
This document was created with an unsupported version of Excel. Only documents created with Excel ’97 or later can be opened."

im guessing its coz of the format but can this be changed to accept the newer version?

cheers

You need the mbstring PHP-library pre-installed on your server.

No, I only supports the Miscosoft Ecxel 97/2000/XP (.xls) format.

That should probably be best. Also, if you have a cPanel, try it through there, it might have an option to configure your PHP with the missing mbstring library. On most webhosts, it comes pre-installed.

Use OpenOffice 3.x. Or better, stop using Windows altogether :) With Microsoft you always run the risk of lacking backward compatibility, in addition to spending a fortune on an Office suite which doesn't even have proper support for many other common formats like ODF or PDF.

Do you have any plans for updating this to include the SEO field?

I've just got my site working with SEO and would really find it useful for this contribution to include that field.

Cheers

Gavin.
