I thought I read in another post that the best way is to use an FTP client.

Because OpenCart automatically resizes images when you upload through the file manager, you lose the animated feature in the gif.

Try uploading through FTP and see if that works. You'll also need to have the correct size already set, otherwise it will be resized depending on what you're using it for.

Hi Joel, thank you for your advice but im newbie in cpanel. What is ftp client. and how to install the gif file in cpanel? Thk u in advance

You could upload the file using the file manager in Cpanel.

You would upload the file into the
image / data / image /
directory of your shop.
