Excellent ! Joomla + Opencart...

Ayelshop looks good, but I have a couple of questions.

1. Is Ayelshop a bridge? Will the shop run slower through Ayelshop than if I ran OpenCart by itself?

2. How does templating / theming work? Do I need to match an OpenCart theme to my joomla template, or will OpenCart adapt to my joomla template?
