This would be cleaner:

Code: Select all

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on [OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\. [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$$1 [R=301,L]
If it still doesn't work, either clear your browser cache or press Ctrl+F5 to force a complete reload of the page. It's possible you're simply looking at an old, cached page. Of course, this is on an "Apache" server or some other type configured to obey .htaccess, right? Then, are your configure.php files modified to specify https instead of http everywhere? And finally, you've confirmed that your SSL certificate is properly installed and is working, and it's for and not

Once you have integrated PHP with SSL, you now have to write redirect rules to your .htacess file. Here is what you need to enter:

# Redirect HTTP to HTTPS
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
