[SOLVED] Empty spaces in featured products box

Hello to all,

I have been searching a little bit the forum and Googling also, without success.

Currently I use OC 1.5.0 and since first installation, we have setup 30 products as featured among the others. Before a few days we decided to remove some of them from featured, but we noticed that there were remaining empty spaces, therefore making our site look bad because we have the featured products in the main page.

We tried to remove all featured products, save the module and add them back again, no result.
We tried to clear cache (/system/cache) but this didn't work too.
We tried to edit affected products by any change and this didn't work too.

To make it a little bit more easier to understand, I am attaching a screenshot of the actual site...

Any suggestion would be welcome, thanks!

UPDATE: It was solved only after I upgraded OpenCart. I did not understand why was this happening...

also, try uninstalling the featured module
then edit your database, remove any rows in the settings table where the group is named like 'featured'
