i intend to use Qphoria's Offline Credit Card Module for collecting customer credit card information so it can be manually processed offline.

What are requirements for using it in PCI Compliance Mode option?
Is SSL certificate required for this module?

Thanks.

Not required but like any site where you are collecting card data, it makes the customer feel better. In reality it doesn't really send the data anywhere, just saves directly to your store system, but it is more about appearances.

well it's not required to function, but it would most certainly be required to pass pci compliance, though to be honest I'm not sure any system like this that saves the card data would pass pci compliance these days.

hi,
Installed the offline credit card module and thanks Qphoria for creating such modules/extensions.
i now have 2 questions:

1) can the above module used for collecting card data from interac (canadian payment service)?
2) how much important is pci scan(annually/quaterly) when i collect credit card details using the above module.
(i have ssl installed and using the offline cc module in pci complaince mode)

thanks

1. It has a credit card verification algorithm that doesn't include debit card so it likely won't work out of the box.
2. You shouldn't be required to have a pci scan if using offline. Usually its only live merchant processors that require the scan. Technically there is no way to be PCI compliant with an offline CC module because you have to store that data somehow.

hi,

Using opencart_v1.5.1.1 with Qphoria's Offline Credit Card Module.

At the time of order, website owner receives 2 emails:
1) Order details
2) Credit card details

Can we merge the 2 emails into 1 email showing combined information ( order info + credit card information)
(i am using non complaint database + email option of Offline Credit Card Module)

thanks...
