I followed the documentation which tells you how to move my opencart installation onto another domain, all seems fine except the following error :-

Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open '/var/www/vhosts/mathewhoughton.com/httpdocs/image/cache/data/img516-500x500.jpg' for writing in /var/www/vhosts/mathewhoughton.com/httpdocs/system/library/image.php on line 43


Can anyone help me??

Currently running version 1.4.9.1

You mean you moved the site and files from one location to another

Make sure you moved all files/folders

Check your permissions on the folders as per the install.txt file that comes with opencart.
