Coupon Discount gives 100% off no matter what value is enter

Hello,

I am hoping a genius out there can help.

I am using opencart 1.4.9.5 and am having problems with the Coupon feature.
I have set up everything correctly but no matter what percentage value I enter it always deducts 100% of the total in the chackout.
1. Item cost $100
2. Discount voucher RTD007 (10% off value)
3 Total = -$100
Meaning the coupon has applied 100% off

The coupon feature works fine for a cash ammount off
Any help would be greatfully appricated.

Not a "genius" but try setting the discount to 1% perhaps something is adding the extra zero?

Thanks for the reply. This was also my thinking as well, so I tried various ammount from 1% 5% 10% 20% etc, but all give the full 100% discount.

I have checked MyPHPadmin, and the coupon database fields are correct - and showning the corret data.

I think my only option is to upgrade to the latest version which I am not looking forward to.
