Show Categories in Manufacturer page?

Hi,

I am hoping to show categories in the manufacturer page. I want the categories shown to have products only by that specific manufacturer. Is this possible? I have tried it myself but I always get an error that looks like this....

Notice: Undefined variable: categories in /home/discoun2/public_html/catalog/view/theme/WebUnitTheme2/template/product/manufacturer.tpl on line 6

Does anyone have a module for this kind of feature?

I don't have a module for that, but I've created a module to display categories on the frontpage

You might be able to borrow some of the code and re-purpose it for your manufacturer controllers and template files.
