I installed export/import tool newly.
When im trying to export , it showing blank xls file...
How to import my own products file into opencart?
Can anyone help?
If you're running into errors on export, go over the install instructions, and be sure you've gotten things right 100%
Once you're able to export items, then you can make adjustments to the items that are exported.
Note: You cannot just 'add items' to the sheet. You can only edit items that were exported. The trick here, is to add all of the items in simple form via the admin interface (in other words, just apply the minimal details necessary) then export them, and add all the other details via spreadsheet.
Reason this is necessary is because you need the database to be assigned a product id to that item internally. It doesn't create it on the import. When importing, all the new data just replaces the old data for those particular products.

I had gone through instructions in export/import tool, & edited all files manually.But still im getting export file as blank.
I can see the following When i go to
system>error logs>Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query<br />Error No: 2013<br />SELECT p.product_id, pd.name....
Can u pls help me,where im going wrong?
