Chmod - Images/cache

Hi,

When I try to install OpenCart, i can't get future becuse it says that "/" isnt writeble, and thats correct, but before it did say that my "images/cache" should be writeble there. So what wrong?

set Chmod 777 on "Image" folder

Some hosts might not allow you to write to the root directory due to their security setup (openbasedir or phpsuexec setups etc)
Try installing in a sub folder of your site eg. /shop and set chmods on that & sub folders.
You can transfer the files to the root directory and then update your configs once it's installed correctly in /shop
