Put simply, if this is happening you need a better host. Open Cart is very light weight. Your hosting must be really bad

Did you actually change the value of yourstore.com to your actual domain instead?

this is what I got frommy hosting services :(

Please note this is a shared hosting environment and it has restrictions in mysql/php settings. Functionality of a well configured site and other services will be normal. When ever site or part of the site is trying to use more cpu or mysql, service will fail. Here I believe your complete account is crossing the limit 10% cpu or simply mysql queries crossing mysql limit. You have to optimize the script and we cannot alter server wide settings for you.

Unless you have a very large store with hundreds of categories and thousands of products, no probably not. Cheapo hosts like to blame website scripts when they're really providing substandard resources. If you're only paying a couple dollars a month for hosting you're likely at a cheapo host who isn't going to care about making sure your website has the resources to stay up. They're interested in cramming as many websites on a server as they can so they can make some money.

thank you ryan for your answer.

at ipage i paid like 3usd per month, suposslly with no restrictions when i get it. now i was thinking to move to hostgator at the baby plan, for almost 8 per month. they said that if i will not use more than 25% of the cpu, everything is going to be very good with no problems.
my store have like 10 categories and like 9000 products, and almost 5000 products has 6 options (size and price).
what do you recomend me to do?

thanks in advance one more time

It depends on your business. VPS hosting is very cheap these days. If you're online revenue is an important part of your business - if it would really hurt you if it disappeared tomorrow - then I'd say spending $50 a month on a managed VPS plan is nothing. With the amount of products you have the dedicated resources would definitely benefit you.
