Hello. I need to allow my customers to choose colors and fabrics for some of my products. Is there a module that allows me to do this? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello,

You can do that by adding product options. While adding or editing products go to third tab "Options" and click "Add Option" on the right.

For our products, we need them to fill out some text, date, time, etc. We customize the product (for new born), with their name, city and state born, weight and date/time born. all this data needs to be passed with the order. the options mentioned above only allows for drop down creations.

how can we do other data fields?

I am looking for the same thing.
We customize sport trophys and stuff and need a text input to write the text witch is added to the product.
Thankfull for help.

Do you mean blank data fields that allow customers to add more information per product
OR
Do you mean specific customer profile type information such as sizing measurements per product?

Yes i mean data inputfields so the costumer can add special text.

You might be in luck... I need this type of input field for the "domain" when selling website package products - so I might investigate this next week.

Been working on a solution for text options, text attributes or whatever you want to call them.
Still have a few little bugs to get rid of, & haven't added submitted text to order yet, but will try to release this week.

Here's a snapshot of the admin Here's a snapshot of the frontend You get the idea. This should hopefully open up the way for other types of options such as radio buttons, checkboxes etc... opencart will just get better!

you've done a really good job with this.

Its quite complex having to mess getting the javascript and php working properly.

hi,
i need to have a color selection menu in the product list and immediately selecting the color it should display the product image.
when you click on particular product, product will be having a list option and with that i need to have a seperate color menu where selecting a particular color the product image should be changed.
