Just changed from PayPal Standard ro PayPal Pro.
Have read through several threads with respect to a "Please Wait" after payment is submitted in checkout.
Currently I am experiencing this symptom however PayPal never sees the request.
I have looked through all of the files for anything obvious and server settings.
Checked API user/pass/Signature 1 few dozen times.
One thing is that I am using a template other than "default". DO any of the payment scripts need to be changed if a different template is being used?
Need a bit of assistance. Any input to help resolve this is appreciated.

Update to the initial post.
I have confirmed with PayPal that they are getting the transaction request and they are sending either error codes or an applicable success.
The please wait does not timeout, and if I leave the checkout page and go into my sales I can see the transaction has been posted with all of the PayPal transaction information.
What would cause the checkout page to not proceed after PayPal returns a successful transaction?
