Wrong Pricing

Hello,
I am new to this forum and opencart. First of all i am amazed by the simplicity and power of this piece of software. Way to go. :)

I have an issue. I have setup a new product and set the price to $24.99 USD but from the front end i am seeing $47.46. I have set not to include tax into price in the settings section.

I have sorted out some problems with the themes for 1.2.8 but have no idea where to post the code.

set your default currency to usd and and set the connesion rate to 1.00000
