Shipping by weight?

Hi, This is my first time posting here so please bare with me :S

Right....

Ive got a product set for 1kilogram...

And ive got my shipping by weight as 1:1.00... So 1 kilo is £1

But when i go to the checkout and select shippign by weight it comes up as 0.65p?

Can anyone shed some light on this please because im pulling my hair out trying to get it correct!!

Sounds like you might have the default currency for the shop set to dollars and you are looking at the shopping cart in pounds or potentially the way you have the taxes set up.
