I have added paypal as my only payment method and i am having trouble becuase the payments are not being recorded on the site is it becuase i am using the wron paypal tool?

currently using the PayPal tool but i noticed there are more than one with different names.

Or do i need to do something to intergrate it?

Should work with no special setup. Just configure it from the start with your email address and you should be set.

Are you doing this on a web server or your local machine? Keep in mind IPN won't work on your local machine.

I am using a free host freehostia.
doesn't seem to work which module should i be using is the one that says paypal ok?

I find alot of freehosting companies have hidden tracking scripts and may disrupt things.

I'm not sure if thats the case here though.

well sale is more likely what you want

But I think there is a bug with it.. as it is set to "Sale" instead of "sale" and you need to use lowercase. Search the forums for more info

U can use any method - it will not help to make orders appear in ADMIN.

I already talked with Daniel to make default value in OC not 0 but 1 so if there is some errors with paypal or ther payment system-admin can see orders.

i hope in new version Daniel will do this. Cause i'm tired to go to phpMyAdmin and set order_status_id to 5 when user buys stuff and it doesn't update. cause to me paypal is not working...as i see to more and more people with the same problem..
