Unfortunately since the documentation isn't up yet i'm struggling with a few basic functions. Hope you guys can help
I had a good play with the zones and thought i managed to do what i wanted, but i didn't quite work out.
What I'm after is this:
Use a single shipping method tied to weight.

Have 2 zones for TAX:
UK VAT zone
VAT Free zone
Within the VAT Free have Jersey, Guernsey
When you get to checkout, if your country is in the VAT free list then shipping may be different (may be more to ship a parcel offshore etc).
Now I added the countries to the list (actually Daniel, Jersey, Guernsey are now on the latest ISO lists), and then created a new zone and included these in at 0%. The products reflect this if i change my user country to one of them.
However, when i hit the checkout, i have no shipping method available at all.
within the shipping module | zone , i can see the VAT Free drop down, it is enabled, and the data is almost the same as the UK VAT zone (just a few pounds higher).
I guess this is technically a "alternate shipping method based on location" actually ?
Either way, I can't seem to work out how to implement it.
Any one have any ideas? Perhaps I've created the initial zone wrong?
