OpenCart Community

Hello everyone,

Since this is one of my first posts, I would like to introduce a bit myself. My name is Julien I'm a programmer from Sherbrooke, Québec.

The reason I joined the forums is because we're starting a huge project based on OpenCart. I and my lead programmer thinks OpenCart is one of the strongest open source e-commerce solution. The community also seems very strong and active, so I decided to be part of it!

I would have a small request that concerns the main OpenCart website/forums. I would like you guys to add a Favicon <3.

I know it's not very hard to create/generator, but I've decided to create one for your guys. In fact, I made two differents, so you can pick the one you like best if any.

Reason for that is I use to remove texts from important bookmarks and put it in my bookmark bar. This way, I have tons of icons that looks like this:



A friend used to do this, and I thought it was a great idea. Anyhow, do you think it would be possible to add the favicon so you can please me and maybe some others?

Is it possible to have a reply from some OpenCart admin/mods?

I think a favicon is needed on every site. Also, since it's very easy to add, I don't know why you wouldn't be able to add one.

Looks like daniel liked the cart icon better than the oc icon.. either way.. its there now

The appearance of the new favicon on this forum caught my eye, but my brain tried to convince me that it had been there all along. How about that?

p.s. There are many of us here who read the forum from top to bottom each day, so don't think that a posting "at the bottom" is any less important or interesting than one posted "at the top" of the forum. Your posting would likely not have been received so favorably had it remained in an inappropriate category.

I done this as described, but the image before the url stays a world globe in Firefox, any idea how to change that?
