I have found an opensource affiliate program called Elitius.
It says on the product page that it is easy to integrate with virtually every shopping cart.
I have an online shop built with OC 1.4.9X and would like to integrate it with Elitius.
I have already written a support request for an integration guide from Elitius developers but I am yet to receive a reply from them.
Maybe, someone here can investigate this Elitius and eventually help me with my integration goal.
