I'm planning on opening an online store and OpenCart seems like it could be the shopping cart that would suit my needs best.

However I'm planning on creating my pages (home, about, shipping etc) in html format using dreamweaver. I was wondering if it would be possible to integrate Opencart to such a site. My shop wouldn't actually be my homepage, much like with a magazine, I'd like my homepage to present my business and not sell anything, therefore I'm planning on creating it in dreamweaver using both HTML and CSS and then linking the homepage to my Opencart shop.
Hope this makes sens...

Is this possible? If so, would it be fairly straightforward to add my logo and customise the colour scheme of the shop pages? I'd like the colour scheme to be the same throughout... on both my HTML pages and my store pages. Can I use CSS to customise opencart stores?

Thanks for your help.

Hi. You can integrate your site in html with opencart. Develop your site as usual, and you'll put a link to your cart.
In your cart, you can edit your theme adding some buttons in your main menu linking to your site.
You can insert your logo via Admin.
You can fully edith your CSS to customize your store.
Please, search in the forum and documentation about this.
