Hi,

I'm getting this error:

"Could not connect to the database please make sure the database server, username and password is correct!"

But I've double checked all data, it's correct.

Am I crazy or this script can't even install itself?

The only thing different about my install is that I'm not installing on root directory, but on /dir1/dir2/.

Have a look:

that is very wierd

can you install  1 folder down and see if that make a difference?
then we can edit the config files to run in the other folder for you

What's ECT?

Anyway, I've just created that user via Direct Admin control panel. Direct Admin always give the myqsl user full control of the DB.

I believe the server settings are OK.

I even have other carts installed (check out http://www.taradao.com.br/v2/loja )

Anyways, here's the URL: http://www.taradao.com.br/phpinfo45316.php
