Add free product to cart if order total above price

Hi,
Looking for an extension which will add a free product if the order total is greater then $X. If the total is above $Y then a different free product is added.
Any ideas?
Using version 1.4.9.4.

I don't have a solution to your question. But I am very interested in this plugin too!
I just did a quick search and found this "Free Gift" plugin that might work out for you:

Hello,
i'm looking also for this kind op extension what the topic starter is asking.
when people order at for example between €50-€100,- they will get product X for free
when people order between €100-€150,- they will get product Z for free
and so on.
any extensions who do this? or any developers who can fix this pm me or response here.
