Hello I'm starting to think that my Paypal has to be verified in order to use the Paypal Standard module because everytime I checkout I get this error : Error: No Payment options are available. Please contact us for assistance!
Am I wrong? If so any suggestions?
Check your zones are setup correctly
Check paypal module is assigned to all zones (if thats what you want)
Check minimum amount in paypal module is not set too high

PayPal Verified means that PayPal has verified you as a real person/company. I'm PayPal verified, gives a better status

There is no address verification done for paypal or any other payment module that I know of. The real reason to get verified is so that there are no restrictions on how much you can transfer out of the account each month and possibly avoid a waiting restriction on access to your funds.
It is best to get verified for these reasons alone.
The standard paypal module here will work for you if not verified.
