Creative Studios Crafting Blog/Shop [OC 1.5.1.1]

Hi,

It's taken a little while to get up and running but it's finally gone live!

I've designed and created the theme (with huge help from a friend!) for both he Blog and Shop and tried to make them both 100% the same so that it gives the illusion that the customer isn't leaving the Blog for the Shop and vice versa

Both themes are a bit choppy as !) i've not designed a site/theme in a loooong time and 2) This is the first time i've done a WordPress Theme and an OpenCart theme...but i think they turned out nice!

Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

The design looks really good

One minor thing. If you add something to the cart, then click on the drop down arrow in the header to check your basket, the box spreads out across the whole width of the page and the item is partially obscured by the photo of the site owner. The bottom of the drop down also seemed to tuck itself beneath the nivoslider image. I was at work, using IE7 so maybe just an IE7 thing. Probably easily fixed in the stylesheet.

I like your site a lot. The only comment is if you could lighten up the background. Make it a lighter gray, closer to off white with the white polka dots. My eyes are drawn to the dots. It may have something to do with my screen size. A lot of people have wider screens and I see too many dots. My site is strait out of the box and you can see how clean it looks.
