Tax being charged on shipping

Hello,

We recently switched to a new server, and now if a user is charged sales tax (Wisconsin residents only) it bases the tax on the cost of the item(s) and also the shipping. I looked at the Error Log but there wasn't anything about it in there. Has anyone ran across this or know how to fix it?

You don't mention what version of OpenCart you are using, nor which shipping module is giving you this behavior, so it is not possible to render specific advice.

Generally, though, what you should do is to look in your shipping module and find a radio button selection for "Shipping taxable?" and select No.

You were right, the shipping taxable was set. Taxes are going good now. Thanks!
