admin demo: http://opencartwork.com/lpbc/admin/

password: demo username: demo

Compatibility: Opencart 1.5.1.x - 1.5.2.x - 1.5.3.x - 1.5.4.x

Once logged in admin , navigate to extension > modules to the Latest products by category module.

This module displays the latest products from specific category.

You can set modules for every category (as many as you want actually) and set how many latest products to display for every category.

The thumb size for module is the same as product listing in category and you can change it in admin > system >setting > tab image.

This is a sepparate module then the default latest module

You can buy it from my store here: http://store.shop-carts.net/opencart-la ... y-category

This is cool, if you can make a best seller for categories will be much more cool :)

I know nothing about PHP and SQL, but I still try my best to understand it.

***UPDATED >>> Now , if you add the module to the category layout, the module will display the latest products from the category you are visiting (EX: If you go to the Desktop category page, the module will display the latest products from the desktop category). Also, the module will hide if it doesnt contain products***

Yes, as long as you have different layouts for each store's homepage and you dont add it corectly.(Ex: Do not add it to store B to display products from within a category assigned to store A)

Hello

I've been trying for 2 days now to set the lpbc module for multishop but I must be doing something wrong cause it's not working properlly. If I click on "view all" on one category that category will display at the bottom of the home page under all other category!

as you can see on my site: http://www.lesbricollesdecleo.com and because of that google stopped indexing my products!

I tried different route but it's still not working.

How do you set the "layout" and route for lpbc?

tks

Well I removed the 2nd shop because I couldn't find the right way to set the lpbc module in layout-route for multishop and it was causing problem to both store.

If you could tell me how to set the "layout and route" properly for multishop I will try again later.
