Hi

I we want to ship internationally but we do not want to ship all products. I have attempted to look for an extention with the functionallity we require but have been unable to find one that seems to fit.

I am looking for an extention that allows an extention to select the following:
*To say per product if you wish to ship internationally
*Allow you to select the countries you wish to ship to
*Set shipping prices per country

Is anyone aware of an extention that does this.

Thanks

Hello, have you tried an International package forwarder? One like MyUS.com?

They work with web retailers for no cost, to help them reach global markets without actually having to ship anything internationally.
The way it works is they provide international consumers with a legal US address so the web retailer is only shipping US domestic. The package forwarder then assumes all liability for the product as well as the safe shipping to the international consumer.

Does this sound like something that would work for you?

Hi

Thanks for the reply sorry about not answering you stright the way Bank holiday over here.

We are un the UK so MyUS.com does not apply. It is not finding a courier how ever that is the problem. It is being able to control through open cart the products that we are wanting to send over seas.

We need to be able to select the products that we wish to send.

Thanks

Ideally you would choose a geo zone for each product, or all if it available worldwide etc.

The problem, until some one logs in/registers, you will not know which geo zone they belong too or want the order delivered to.

Therefore, it is going to be difficult / impractical to set-up and getting working without causing confusion.

This sounds like something I am looking for. One of the manufacturers that we sell is forbidding us to see internationally - outside US. Did you ever come up with a resolution for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you use formula-based rates, you could use Product-Based Shipping. Otherwise, you could restrict your shipping methods from appearing for international locations by using Restrict Shipping Methods.
