Daniel, we once discussed moving the Encryption key out to the main settings area so that ALL payment modules could use it.. is this still planned?

you think its a good idea I can do it in the next release. It does seem to confuse people.

Well it confuses people because they don't know what to put there... put a helper text under it describing that you make up any key

it encrypts data so hackers can not try to change your order status using fake callback.

Hi,

So, if I'm reading this correctly, the Encryption Key that is in the main Settings ( I'm using v1.2.8 ) can be anything that I type in? Mine was set as 'test' (by default, I guess) and I haven't touched it because I wasn't sure what to do with it. Could I just leave it as it is, or would it be better to change it?

I'm learning a Lot from searching and reading this forum! :)

Thanks,

James - Panda Man :)
