I recently purchased the category-based-shipping module for OpenCart. It works fine but I have a problem that I can't resolve and I hope someone is willing to help me out.
I am setting up a store for a client that sells natural cleaning products. Some of the products are fluid based and some are not. Shipping from Ireland to other countries can only be done by parcel service, because it's forbidden by Irish law for the national post service to ship fluids.
* I have now set up different geo zones, but to keep it simple let's stick to two zones. Ireland and UK
* The shop has only 6 products of which one is not a fluid.
* I have set all products to 1 category each so each product can have their shipping cost calculated.
* To ship a fluid to UK costs say € 10 by Parcel Service
* To ship a non-fluid to UK costs € 5 by National Post
* If customer only buys the non-fluid, shipping cost is displayed correctly, only 1 choice, shipment by National Post
* Same for a customer that buys only the fluid.
Problem arises when a customer wants to buy a fluid and a non-fluid product.
Customer sees two shipping options on check-out. He will always choose the cheapest option what is not what I want, because in that case the shipping cost for the fluid product is not paid for.
Is there a way, that the customer sees only the highest of the two values (both products will be shipped by Parcel service)?
I have uploaded a screenshot for the UK shipping by Standard Post here: http://www.naturalliceandmitebuster.ie/ ... andard.png
It's the Sarcrid Salve that's a non-fluid product.
A screenshot of the settings for UK shipping by Parcel Service is here:

I tried working with the settings in the General tab and setting that to highest, but it doesn't work.
Website in process can be viewed here http://onlineshop.naturalliceandmitebus ... ommon/home
I hope someone can find time to answer my questions.
Thanks

Hi Jeroen -- the Highest setting works for rates that are within the same Geo Zone. Is there any reason you can't combine the two Geo Zones you have for the UK? Basically, you should be able to just add the rate you set up for the UK Standard Post zone to the UK PDP Parcel Service zone. If they cover the same geographical area, I can't think of a reason why you'd need two Geo Zones anyway, other than having different titles.
