Hi,

I am encountering a problem with that option in admin panel.

When I go to product/options I find a box with a green plus sign and I do not know how to add purchase options for the product.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Firstly, you need to have set-up the options in catalog->options

afterwards, when creating/editing a product, on the options tab, simply start typing an option value in the box.

Thanks for letting me know but I do not understand why I have to enter the first letter for the menu to drop options.

Shouldnt it be an automatic drop menu?

I might be doing something wrong again?

I believe the reason it has been coded like this in 1.5.x is because you could have thousands of options and therefore a drop down menu would not be realistic.

The options box uses ajax to search and autocomplete from what you type.

This isn't a bug, it is just the way it works in 1.5.x

Ok I understand but sub drop menus always could reduce available options. But I get it.
