OK, here is my dilemma:

Shipping only seems to work on a per item basis. So if I assign each item to be $5 for shipping I face this problem:

My store has 6 shirts for sale. if someone buys 1, its $5 for shipping. 2 is $10. I would like it so if they order more than 2 it is $10 shipping... but there is no way to do this, not even with a discount set.

I mean if someone order 3 of 1 shirt and i set a discount for $5 off on that item if 3 or more are ordered, then someone orders 3 of another shirt, theyll be charged 20 dollars for shipping rather than $10 flat.

So how can i set it up so that if 1 shirt is ordered, its $5, 2 is $10, anything above this no matter what shirt it is will be $10???

er... can you explain?

How do i use zone shipping to make it cap shipping cost at 10 dollars if 2 or more items are ordered?

Well I suppose I'd need to port the Zone Shipping Plus module from 0.x over as that has support for "item-based", "subtotal-based", and "weight-based" shipping. The default Zone shipping only supports weight based zone shipping.

Then you could set something like
1 item - $5.00
2+ items $10.00

Thanks

Can you link me to the module, I do not see it?

That would be much appreciated. Would that work on my 1.x?

I see -- do you have plans to do so? If so that would be great!! if not i may have to just switch to a different software unfortunately... I love opencart so far but if it can't support this shipping logic then I can't use it :-\

Hi Q,

this would be very much appreciated if you could - do you have a date in mind to do this?
Can I do anything to help you along?.... ;)
