Hello All,

I want to upgrade to OC1505 but how can I upgrade my templates other than doing a complete redesign from scratch?
Can someone be kind enough to share how to do it if it is possible?

I haven't looked into this extensively, but to my knowledge there's no easy way to do it unless your theme is just stylesheet changes.

its actually quite minor changes that are needed.

my advice to you would be to download some software called "Compare it!"

then load one of the default template files and load the same named file from 1.5.0.5

You will see all the difference between the two files.

then just load your own template in a good editor like notepad++ and make the changes manually.

Thanks guys! I think the compare idea is good. However my experience is that comparing and then modifying takes just as much time as a complete new template from the default one.

well if you write your templates properly and just change a few files instead of copying the entire theme folder it would be much easier.
