Help with Returns

Hi guys
Im new to opencart and need some help sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section.

I done a pretend sale for myself then done the return which all seem to work ok but i did notice that the dashboard still says 1 sale and the stock is the same. Should the return have took the sale off the dashboard and added the product back to stock or do i have to do this manually ?

You must add the returned merchandise to your inventory manually. The reason for this behavior in OpenCart is that it is expected that many returns will be for reasons that will prevent the item to be sold as new (or at all) again. This is why you must decide if the returned item is worthy of being added back into your stock.
