CANNOT VIEW DEFAULT STORE

Hi there,
recently installed latest Opencart 1.5.0.5 to my clients server.
Im trying to set it up now and i cannot access the settings/default store ..
The following:
admin/index.php?route=setting/store -- > when i click on the default store edit,
it takes me to a blank screen and says no info sent.
I can however create a new store and edit the new store ...
Any clue
?
