This is called the Super Message Kit and it expands the original Welcome Module with all new benefits and features including:
- Ability to add jQuery behaviors like show(3000) or fadeIn('fast') on the fly
- Assign a start and expiration date to each message. This feature is good for products that sell on a certain holiday season or for letting customers know that a certain coupon will expire on a future date.
- Ability to assign an optional HTML ID for CSS and jQuery references
- Add inline CSS for the entire section
Also, when I used the Welcome module, it named all the tabs Module 1, Module 2, etc which I found annoying, so the Super Message Kit will rename the tabs with your heading so you never have to click on multiple tabs to get to the right message. This happens after you save the module and click on the Edit button again in your Module list.
One note: The zip file starts with the path "opencart" and then it lists the folders for the controller, languages, etc. You may have to change this when you download it into your open cart installation.
