Hi folks

I'm looking for a shipping extension, but I don't need to link it to UPS, Royal Mail rates.

I would like to offer the customer two rates

1. Standard Delivery £4.95
2. Special Delivery Next Day £10

Initially we are looking at customers only buying one item at a time and I guess we can suck for the extra charges if they order two as we are selling shoes that are well priced.

It would be nice in the future to take into account if they bought two items if we started getting hit for the extra cost too much. So I guess we would need something to take account of the number of items, but I want to keep it simple for now.

So your suggestions for the best extension would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks from sunny Yorkshire!!

Sorry I don't know the answer, I'll be watching though as this would be applicable to my situation.

Perhaps the way to go would be to duplicate the flat rate module and essentially have two flat rates one for your standard and one for your next day shipping methods.

I just wanted to say hello, as a fellow tyke,
from the sunny South East (previously Yorkshire of course)...

Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry to here that you "emigrated"!!!

At least you didn't defect and go over the "Border" like my sister who now sounds like an extra from "Coronation Street"!!!
