I've translated the Dutch language files and managed to insert en make it as my default language with Opencart. However, when I hit the Dutch flag, the shop remains completely empty without categories, products or some admin features whatsoever.

Does anyone have a suggestion what went wrong or what to do next?

You need to update allpages that require mulitple languages before switching laguages.

Its a pain to do but  you need to do this in the default language before switching otherwise everything gets messed up.

I thought that all pages in the language folders from both admin and catelog was enough to translate the whole system. I'm a bit confused about what else to translate then..

You need to add all product, category, information, downloads and image details in both languages.

not if you need or deal with customers that speak dif launguages... it helps them

Customer service.. that is where is all about...

Danial - any way we can make a fall back  the order shows in the language it was made in if the customers current language not found    ie ordered in EN      customer not set to DE  but no order info is there..  so the controller passed back the EN order?

I have the same problem just with a homemade danish language pack for the catalog..

What files do you have to edit before it will work..?
