This is not an accusation, I know you did your own work on this. But is it really necessary to duplicate someone else's contribution?
I released a "Category Descriptions" for OpenCart 1.x back in February (posted on the forum here http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 98&start=0. Although this version is only suitable for use with OpenCart up to version 1.1.8 and is not compatible with later versions.
I updated this for 1.1.9 and later (posted on the forum here http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 385#p16660).

Sorry about that, wasn't aware of it, I only looked at the Opencart contributions pages.
Maybe if we had one central place where all the free and commercial contributions could be listed, even if they are located on different servers, that would make things easier.

I discovered the "meta_description" field when I was updating my Featured/Specials mod. So I thought I'd do the Category Descriptions as well, since I'd incorporated that into it.

If you install Opencart 1.2.9, the category description is already included. Also in 1.2.9, Daniel added the 'meta' field in the manufacturer table.
