Local currency issue

Hello,

OpenCart Version: 1.4.9.5

I've successfully setup a local currency to be used in my OpenCart installtion. The correct price shows throughout the site. I've setup up Paypal Standard for payments. The problem arises when someone checks out, the prices get automatically converted to its USD equivalent. I wanted to show the local currency price. I have also added that local currency in my Paypal account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Paypal supports like 22 currencies. If your currency is not supported, it converts to USD automatically. Google "Paypal Currencies" to see if your currency is supported.

The currency is supported (Philippine Peso). In fact, I have seen an opencart-powered site using the currency.
It just confuses me why the currency is reverting to USD when reaching the Paypal payment page.

Hi, I am having the same issue. I am trading in Malaysia, and paypal support Malaysia Currency (RM) and able to send money to any bank in Malaysia. I have also set Malaysia Ringgit (Malaysia Currency) as default in Paypal.

However, when I checkout from site, every detail of the purchase, gift voucher and shipping show up, but in USD instead of Malaysia Currency.

Can anyone give me a hand?

I am also having exactly the same issue here. My currency is Australia Dollar. It converts to USD when customer checks out. My OC is V 1.4.9.3.
