I have successfully set up my cart and shipping is ok for the UK but I cant find an option to differentiate betweem local and international. Naturally I need one rate for home(UK) one for Europe and another for rest of the world.
As things stand international buyers are getting the same rate as in the UK.
Is there something I can do to fix this?
advice would be apreciated
Thanks

How are you setting up your shipping? You should be using the Weight based option and creating 2 geozones
1 for your area
1 for rest of world

Then in the weight based module, enter rates for each.
Be sure to read this for more understanding on GeoZones:

I too would like to be able to set up 3 zones. 1-UK, 2- Europe and 3 Rest of the world. I tried to create a new Geo zone but it doesn't seem to list continents which would be good. i could then list all EU countries in europe and then all the others based on continents for the other tariffs. is there anything available or that we can do to make this happen?

cheers

You have to create a Geozone for each and then add the countries to that particular zone. So you can add all countries expect UK in Europe. You have to do this manually though.

I'm currently trying to set this up- is there really not an "add all" option?!

I need a zone for UK postage and then another for the rest of the world.

I've got the UK geozone ready to go, when creating the "world" one (in 1.4.9.5) I can't see a way to build it aside from manually selecting each country and adding it over and over.

Furthermore, if there is a limit of 99 as has been mooted on this forum, then that takes me down to Iceland and no further. Do I need two or three world zones in order to cover everything?

I released a free update to the weight-based shipping extension that included an "All Zones" tab. It should be included by default in 1.4.9.5, or you can download it here:
