New and Sale

Hi everybody,
We have recently set up an online clothing shop. We have two main categories: "Men's" and "Women's".
How can I list all new (recently added) and sale (special) items in each of the main categories separately?
We would like the user to simply click the "Sale" link in the "Men's" section and get a list of products on sale (as if it were just a normal category page, with pagination etc.)
