total multiple lines of taxes as one tax

Is there a way of totaling 2 lines of taxes as one tax in the checkout? I have a line of tax on shipping and one line of tax on the sub-total. I want to make the checkout should only 1 line of tax which will be the total of shipping tax + sub-total tax.

If it's the same tax class it will be totaled on the same line. But if you need two different tax classes (i.e. are applying two different tax rates to shipping and products) then there's no easy way to do this.
