The shipping company I deal with calculates rates like this:
1st 0.5 kg costs $23
Every additional 0.5 kg costs $7.5
How can I map this in OC?
I tried the default weight shipping module, but it's tedious. I have to calculate the rate every 0.5kg up to 100kg for 5 zones!!!

The extension discussed in this thread might be just what you are looking for, once the author modifies it for kg calculation.

You can use the Base Cost field to create the rates you want. You would set the Base Cost to $15.50, and then set the Rate field to charge $7.50 per 0.5 kg. This would charge $23.00 for the first 0.5 kg and $7.50 for every 0.5 kg thereafter.fargo wrote:I think there is something missing!
