Post by State and item

Hi All this is Jas and i am a nube, i have a shop running zencart, and it is not as good as opencart, i have setup opencart and i love it, But i want to send items to different states in Australia, IE; 1 box to state 1 @ $20, the same box to state 2 @ $50 Then i want to send box2 (bigger) to state1 @ $45 and so on, i see the geo zones, but can not get it onto my shopping cart,

So what i would like is the customer would click a button on there state and it would add the post cost for whatever item they choose. or even better opencart would see there postcode and add the post cost for the customer. I hope i explained this ok. if not i will make a video and send the link so you can see what i mean.

I had a look at the Australian post add on's, but i can see one that does this.

You got that right

You need to create a zones for states and OC can pickup the customer zip code based on rego but unsure if this one from Q will fit your requirements. http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... ion_id=436
