I've got UPS and USPS installed as shipping options. I just upgraded to 1.4.9.4 today.

USPS Problem...

I've installed the "usps_v4_first_class_patch" patch. My domestic (inside USA) shipping options are displaying properly. However, if I change my shipping address to Canada, no shipping option are displayed. I have "Express Mail International" and "Priority Mail International" selected as international shipping option. Here is a screen shot...

UPS Problem...

I have both "UPS Worldwide Express" and "UPS Worldwide Expedited" selected. However only "UPS Worldwide Expedited" displays when I am trying to ship to Canada. Here is a screen shot...

You must have dimensions now, especially for international rates. Also be sure to get the latest USPS patch here:

Just installed the new patch and got this error...
Notice: Undefined variable: pounds in /vservers/XXXXXXX/htdocs/store/catalog/model/shipping/usps.php on line 48

Notice: Undefined variable: ounces in /vservers/XXXXXXXX/htdocs/store/catalog/model/shipping/usps.php on line 48

Notice: Undefined variable: pounds in /vservers/XXXXXXXXX/htdocs/store/catalog/model/shipping/usps.php on line 56

Notice: Undefined variable: ounces in /vservers/XXXXXXXXX/htdocs/store/catalog/model/shipping/usps.php on line 5
7

In the back end of the USPS module I am unable to set the weight class. The drop down has no values in it.

Sounds like you have no weight classes setup. You will need those first
System->Localisation->Weight Class

Those should be there from the initial install of opencart. This should have been an issue even with the old versions

The weight classes are there. I've attached 2 screen shots. The first one are my weight classes and the second is a screen shot of my empty drop down.

Oh man. I'm still getting the same error? I can select pound in the back end of the module but there is still an error. [/quote]

Awesome... The error is gone but my rates are very low in comparison to the actual USPS rates. Is this another dimensional problem? Also, when shipping to Canada, no options are presented to the customer. This wasn't a problem with your January patch.

Thanks.

In the back end of the cart I have the following selected...

When I get to the shipping options in the cart, nothing appears for USPS options?

Select all services to see what rates do actually show up. The rates are returned directly from USPS, that is out of my control. On my demo site I have all rates checked and when I checkout for canada, uk, australia, etc.. I always see "some" sort of rate.

For the price being cheap.. unlike the UPS module, this one does support dimensions. I've done some comparisons here with exact matches.

For Canada I get these possibilties to Newfoundland from Chicago
10lb package. 10x10x10 with 10 girth:
United States Postal Service (Weight: 10.00lb)
Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) (Estimated Time: 1 - 3 business days) $93.75
USPS GXG Envelopes (Estimated Time: 1 - 3 business days) $93.75
Express Mail International (Estimated Time: 3 - 5 business days) $65.85
Express Mail International Flat Rate Envelope (Estimated Time: 3 - 5 business days) $26.95
Priority Mail International (Estimated Time: 6 - 10 business days) $37.90
And here is the same rate request on usps.com:

Identical.

Hmm? Interesting. I just re-installed the January Core patch and my quote are working perfectly. Let me try your new patch again.

Thanks.

I just fixed it. I was using 30x30x10 and an 80" girth (which is accurate). When I switched the dimensions to 1x1x1 and 1 correct rates showed up.

It must be something to do with a dimensional limit.

You might want to try 28x28x10 as well. That worked on USPS's website when 30x30x10 didn't.

Thanks
