Ok, i'm not a nutjob PETA member. I'm a carnivore. I eat cows, chicken, pigs, fish, the local canteen's mystery meat, etc. etc. But killing elephants is just wrong in my opinion.

Elephants are one of the few animals that can recognize themselves in a mirror (so they are self-aware). They are extremely smart and social animals. They live for ages and have exceptional memory capabilities. Same same with whales and bottle nose dolphins.

In the article it says the elephants were damaging the local farmers' crops which is why the GoDaddy.com founder killed them. Ummmm, why didn't he just use all the money he has and build a big electric fence around the farms to keep the elephants out?

He must have known posting a picture of him smiling while holding a big shotgun and sitting on a dead elephant would amount to bad PR for the company.

Glad I don't use GoDaddy.com for my hosting. Now I'm confident I'll never use them if I ever decide to look for another host.

hmm. This is something! Doesn't he know that elephants are near their extinction? I hope his business won't be killed and somebody would smile at him.
