Post checkout hook?

Hey All,

I just wrote a PHP to Java bridge allowing for OpenCart(or others) to pass info to a jar file that communicates with FishBowl Inventory program. I am wondering is there a post payment module hook I can use to trigger sending the Order info to Fishbowl to create a sales order?

Hooks are planned for future versions. But you can add your own pseudo hook to the checkout process

I don't need a step-by-step - but can you elaborate just a bit on how to do that?
